I was given a chance to attend Devoxx Genesis 2024, which was held in Antwerp, Belgium from October 7th to 11th. I’ve already been to Devoxx UK back in 2019, but this was my first Devoxx in Belgium.
It was a 5 day conference with 2 days of deep dives and workshops, and 3 days of talks. Together with other attendees we estimated that a third of all talks was related to AI/LLMs. A bit too much in my opinion. But there were enough of other interesting talks.
In the next days, I’ll be posting articles from Devox talks/worshops that I found to be most interesting. In the meantime, here are some highlights of Antwerpen.
We flew to Brussels and took a train to Antwerpen. The following view awaited us after arriving to Antwerpen central station.
We took a stroll through the city and its Stadspark city park.
During a morning run, I’ve discovered Antwerpen’s Port Authority Building designed by famous architect Zaha Hadid.
Keep an eye out for more Devoxx posts!
